Today. we finally finish our heavy cycle-gyneacology. Endig of this cycle also means that ending of Year 2007 and beginning of 8-days New Year holidays.

Our class started at 10am this morning, we(me, T, W, N, and B) together went to flower shop to get a rose for our teacher as a sign of “appreciation”? The rose cost us about 70rubles (RM10, 3USD), quite expensive right? We asked B, our class monitor/leader to choose the rose which suitable for our teacher.

This are the available flowers in shop.

People always said, florists always beautiful. Let’s see our florist

Holy Night

24/12/07

Today is our 1st day of Gyneacology rotation, as i said in previous post the class is conducted with Ass. Professor, Angel. We reached there at 9am, and changed our clothes at clothes room, we have to wear a surgical suits inside, then covered it with normal labcoat, this is because that we can easily go into surgical room, just take off labcoat and can go in. We waited her for more than an hour, and finally she came in, gave us several photos(sonograms, picture, x-ray films) and asked us to describe about it. And of course she left!! For more than 1 and half hour!!!! We finally finished our class at 1pm..

Waiting for bus early in the morning

We were busy changing clothes.

We were discussing about the tasks. There are difficult!! We never been taught about it.

Ass. Prof’s table.

Okie… Tonight is Holy Night, my mood shouldn’t be spoilt by this heavy, crazy, interesting cycle. We last minute decided to go to Catholic Church to join their Christmas Eve Mass, I never participate in it. It was my very 1st time. No Methodist church here, so no choice have to go Catholic Church for at least Christmas Feels.. When we arrived there, there were already full of people, I had no place to sit. Standing during the whole mass..

So many people right? Full!! Why? Because many people going Church only on Easter and Christmas throughout the year. That’s it!

russian ma mas: “I take your bisuit, you take mine”

This is my biscuit, someone already took from me. We have to go around wishing people and ask them to take a bit of biscuit from yours till your biscuit finish. Interesting? My friend said it is very ‘CLASSIC’

Eh!!! Don’t take too much, others need to eat also..

Who is this?? Ahaha, this is my 2nd time saw her in Church.

My biscuit left less than 50%.

People busy changing biscuits to eat. Wishing everyone a merry Christmas.

Lighten up the candles, waiting baby Jesus to arrive.

Russian singing hymms

We went back at 10pm after the blessing by Father, still have many of them stay back for the programmes after that.

Trees along the streets decorated with neon bulbs.

That’s all for today.. Here I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Be Blessed!

Gyneacology~~

23/12/07

Last week, we were having reamination cycle, a science which teach you how to revive a patient from clinical death or emergency medicine, hoho. You have up to 45 minutes to save a ‘death’ patient, of course only in certain conditions.

It is a very interesting and ‘dilemmatic’ subject. Why i said ‘dilemmatic’? It is because that in certain condition you have make a decision within seconds, it is a decision of life and death. You’re will feel guilty not to save a life, and you might feel guilty that you revive a brain death patient. How should you do?!?!!? Sometimes, you are fighting with time, choosing a best, suitable, correct dosage drugs out from thousands, millions of them to revive a patient, any delays will cause death to patient. For example, Dopamine different dosage having different effects, how wonderful it is.

Now reamination (A&E) became compulsary rotation for all houseman, so it will be very important for all medical students or houseman to be.

We ended our cycle with presentation, our presentation mainly about Emergency care in toxicology.

Someone presenting his topic

They are concentrating on the presentation, it must be interesting

Another side of the table, they are also concentrating.

Ehem…. What happen to them?? Too bored?

Our beloved monitor presenting his ‘antidots’, each poisons having their special antidots.

Hellooooo girlss.. What are you doing? You should look at the other way not here… :P

Look at the right side, last person, she is our instructor. A Kind, Knowlegdable doctor.

Okay, that’s last week, my post title is gyneacology, why all about reamination? Am I out of topic? Hehe. This week we are going to have Gyneacology cycle with a very very interesting, challenging associated professor. Have you ever heard of a teacher/instructor/professor failed your previous paper just because of your today’s performance? Hehe, she is the ONE! She will fail your yesterday or previous topic if you answered wrongly, so think twice before you answer. And she is also the ONE who will put unsatisfactory mark in your credit book. Yea… She is the ONE! I hope she would not read my blog, if not I’m also the ONE aimed. Tomorrow class will be conducted at Municipal Hospital Valakno again, a far hospital where we had Traumatology last 2 week.

Okie, tomorrow is Christmas eve, how’s everyone preparation?
